Managing Multiple Tally Companies and Branches from One Login

Run more than one company or branch in TallyPrime? How to see every company from a single login, compare branches, and give each manager the right access.

By Swastik Solutions · Updated 15 Oct 2026 · 6 min read

Growing businesses rarely stay in one Tally company. A second shop, a separate firm for a new line, a branch in another city — and suddenly the owner has to open several companies, one at a time, to understand the business.

The usual problem

  • Each company is opened separately in TallyPrime, often on different PCs.
  • Branch managers send figures in their own formats, at different times.
  • The owner sees the full picture only at month end — if then.

One login for every company

With SwastikOne, every Tally company on your serial can be synced and opened from a single login. On your phone or laptop you switch between companies the way you switch tabs, and every report — sales, outstanding, stock, P&L — follows the company you pick.

That makes questions like these quick to answer:

  • Which branch sold the most this month?
  • Where is stock lying unsold?
  • Which company has the largest overdue receivables?

Give each manager the right access

Instead of sharing one Tally password, create a login for each person and decide what they may do:

  • Owner / partners — every company, every report.
  • Branch manager — their branch's reports, and vouchers if you allow it.
  • Accountant or CA — the reports they need for review.

Your plan decides how many people can be signed in at the same time; you can create as many users as you need.

Branch entries without a branch Tally licence

If a small branch only records orders, receipts or expenses, it may not need its own TallyPrime at all. On a Read & Write plan, the branch raises vouchers from the browser and they post into the company in the head office's TallyPrime.

A monthly review in 20 minutes

  1. Open each company's Profit & Loss for the month and note revenue and gross margin.
  2. Check receivables ageing per company — the over-90-days bucket first.
  3. Look at stock for slow-moving items by godown.
  4. Compare cash and bank balances against upcoming payables.

Done from a phone, this review happens every month instead of every quarter.

Frequently asked questions

Do the companies need to be on the same PC?

The connector syncs the companies opened in TallyPrime on the PC where it runs. Talk to us about your setup and we will suggest the simplest arrangement.

Is each company's data kept separate?

Yes. Reports always follow the company you choose, and each business sees only its own data.
